The Godchild is a design you can't refuse! It's the perfect gift for your godchild, or for any parent who loves The Godfather movie so their baby can look hip and cool. This is a silk screen design, hand printed on 100% cotton, black short sleeve onesies in our home studio. We are the original designers of this parody - if looking at this similar item in another shop please consider the fact that our 2006 idea pre-dates anyone else's shop history.
About The Designers
Huge Wonder is family-run by Agnes & Scott in Austin, TX. The idea for the business came about in 2006 when we realized that the market for children's clothes is saturated with stale designs and pale colors. We wanted a new baby wardrobe with interesting graphic designs and lots of hip choices that came in the color black. Something that made people smile even more at our baby, and which reflected the whimsical aspect of childhood while being rooted in popular culture. What better way to do that than to parody our favorite music, movies, tv shows, and art into children's versions?

Made to order - silk screened by hand, on high quality cotton onesies sourced from Baby Jay, a family business in NJ - within 48 hours, then ships via USPS Priority Mail (2–3 business days). Perfectly clever and hilarious onesie. I cannot wait to gift it to my friends who are expecting. The screenprint was a bit smudged at the edges but still doesn’t take away from the quality of the garment or the uniqueness of the design.
