YOUR MARIMO BALLS
These sweet little moss balls are ready for adoption. They make the perfect little pets... super quiet and easy to care for and you don't even have to feed them. Legend has it, they will bring you love, happiness, and good luck. They're happy floating around in their little aquarium and love to be petted. At times they may produce little bubbles of oxygen during photosynthesis. They would love to keep you company at work.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Marimo moss balls are actually a rare form of freshwater algae (Cladophora aegagropila) found in just a few freshwater lakes around the world. They are soft, fuzzy and super easy to care for. Size will vary but will average around 1/2" in diameter. They only need artificial or indirect light and a water change every 1-2 weeks. No direct sun or fertilizer. Marimos can live for several years.

This seller usually responds within a few hours.

Definitely, I would be happy to include a card for you with a handwritten message at no extra charge. Just fill in the gift message box at checkout.
Please contact me to see if it is possible. I will do my best to make your order a priority and get it rushed out. I can also postpone shipment to try to deliver it on an exact date if you need.
Marimos can stay packaged without water for up to 3 weeks as long as they are kept in a cool location.
Marimos are simple to care for. They can live in any light ranging from artificial light to bright indirect light. Do not expose them to direct sun. Water should be changed once a week in summer and once every two weeks in winter. Tap water is fine, I do recommend using some type of bottled, rain or filtered water for the long run to keep your Marimo as healthy as possible. It also helps keep the vase clean if you have hard tap water. No fertilization needed.
Of course, just leave me a message at checkout with the colors you would like.
Unfortunately not, lichens lie on a bed of pebbles, not soil and would be crushed during the shipping process. It is super easy to assemble though and includes detailed instructions along with a color photo of it already assembled.
