-Chocolate/Golden/Black/Distressed Brown: Full grain with a naked finish. Ages and shows wear beautifully.

- Blush Pink, Pink, Deep Red, Orange, Yellow, Teal, Sea Green, Green Sky Blue, Dark Blue, Mulberry Purple, Dark Purple, and White, : Full grain and slightly more resistant to scratches and less likely to show wear markings than our naked finish leathers.

-Metallic Rainbow- Full grain. Not recommend if you intend to carry this book in a bag/purse often, as doing so could result in high friction wear of the metallic finish.

-Burnt Umber: Has a slightly waxy surface with a subtle sheen. *Burnt Umber in RETIRED with very limited availability*

Unless otherwise stated, all journals and sketchbooks use 70lb (120gsm) heavy-weight white paper, suitable for most mediums.

I have personally tested and had no issues or bleed through from any of the following:

-Micron Pens
-Le Pen Ink Pen
-Calligraphy Inks (Including FW Acrylic, and India Ink)
-Tombow Brush Pens
-Windsor Newton Water Color Markers
-Various Calligraphy Markers/Pens( Including Pentel Fude Touch & Water Based Sharpie Calligraphy Pen, and Itoya Brand Calligraphy Marker)
-Regular Pen and Pencil
-Markers
-Highlighter


*The only thing I do not recommend using are regular Sharpie markers (or other alcohol based markers) as they bleed through just about everything-this paper included.

If personalization is available on an item, you will be able to select the amount of characters in the drop down menu in the listing. Once you add the item to your cart, you will be able to type your letters in a “notes” box.

Longer names may not fit on the cover (depending on the size of the book), so please inquire if you need more characters than listed in the drop down menu. A title page is a another option for longer amounts of text.

“Acid free” refers to the pH of the paper. Some papers can yellow and become brittle over time (think old newspapers). Acid free paper combats this problem, and will stay in much better condition for much longer than papers with a higher acid content. My books are meant to last a lifetime, so I use acid free paper in all my books.

Etsy recently changed and severely limited the format of return policies that sellers can set, and as a result I was forced to mark all listings offering optional personalization as "No Returns" as personalized items are not eligible for return.
