Gentrification is Urban Genocide pins were designed by Tony Colón/aka SST3. Being a long time resident of Brooklyn caused me to create a statement of the condition which seems to have infected most urban areas. The button communicates the state of mind which most victims of Gentrification find themselves. Tony is an oldschool graffiti artist who started writing graffiti as SST-3 in the middle 70's on trains, walls almost anywhere primarily in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn. These days SST3 infuses his Graffiti style into most of his artwork, graphic design and screen printing.
