Mundane mantelpiece? Drab doorway? Well then this pair of bright, exotic vases is just what you need! Made by Eastgate Pottery, probably in the 1960s, these vases are a great example of the cute animal designs that Eastgate/Hornsea did best. Most of the designs of this style feature woodland creatures, so this exotic elephant subject is very unusual and really makes them stand out.

Height – 25cm / 9.8”
With – 15cm / 5.9”
Depth - 11cm / 4.2”

The condition of these two vases is really great. No chips, cracks or damage. There is some crazing to the glaze in parts, but due to the bright colours covering these pieces, this is barely noticeable.

These would look fantastic on a mantelpiece, windowsill or bookshelf and are sure to being some vintage, tropical charm to any home. Not to be missed!
