So, this necklace came together after I drank my morning thermos of coffee. It is truly one of a kind, and shows off what you can do with stuff you find at flea markets and around the house.

It is black rubber tubing on memory wire, long enough that it wraps all around your neck and the tassels on the end become part of the necklace.
This one uses shibori dyed silk scraps from Carter Smith, who is a well known Boston artist. I also included several pieces of middle eastern tribal jewelry - a big coin inset with glass gems, chunks of old chain, an agate medallion, a turkoman button, turquoise, fish vertebrae, old african glass. The effect is tribal, messy and really fascinating to look at - really one of a kind.

Nobody will have anything like this one, and I will ship it to you for $7 insured priority mail. The price of the necklace is $50
