Description

Pure New Hampshire Maple Syrup 250 ml

In the spirit of small farmers working together to produce quality New Hampshire provisions, we have partnered with our close neighbor and gardener-in-crime at Daisy Hill Farm to offer pure maple sugar goods in our product line.

The Morneau family began maple sugaring in 1988 in northern New Hampshire. In 2005 the operation moved, just down the road, to Grantham, New Hampshire with the start of Daisy Hill Farm. Although the gathering and boiling equipment have been modernized, the passion to remain traditional with the use of wood in the boiling process has stayed the same. At any given time during the sugar season, you are likely to see three generations of the Morneau family at work.

Some of my happiest memories as a child are riding the work horses while gathering maple sap in my grandfather’s sugar woods and tasting the syrup fresh off the boiling pans. Oh yes, and then are all the times my sister and I made sugar on snow after school, before my mother got home. We were never hungry for supper and to this day I am not sure my mother ever caught on.

Needless to say I am a purest in the maple department and I give this maple product top grades. This syrup is golden in color with a delicate, but true, rich, sweet maple flavor. The truth be told, I am having a difficult time leaving this product on the shelf for you, my customers. This is the best of the best in the world of maple syrup. After you have tasted this syrup, you will understand what great maple syrup really tastes like.

If you are ordering multiple products, please contact us for accurate shipping costs.

The Daisy Hill Farm sugarhouse and maple products are state inspected and part of the New Hampshire Seal of Quality program.

Note: The State of New Hampshire has changed the grading system for maple syrup. Grade A Golden is similar to the old grading system of Grade Fancy.

Note: This is also available in Grade A Amber. It is slightly darker with similar thickness, but a nice rich taste. Please send me a conversation as to your preference.
