Description

I started making these Crusader Crosses this past May for a group of moms at school. I sometimes wear one myself to show a little school spirit, but I think the one I most enjoy is the one hanging from my rear view mirror. It seems to sparkle even on cloudy days. :-)

I package them as nice little gifts. Could be "thank you for being a friend", Confirmation gifts, graduation gifts, or "Let's celebrate you got your driver's license! - and BTW here's a little cross to hang on your mirror" gift.

Each has a generous size silver plated ring that can accept most simple silver chains, or you can use the 1/8" green ribbon that I include to tie it to your rear view mirror, or turn into a book mark. Each one takes awhile to make, and are $30 each ($5 will go back to the school's Annual Fund to help support and bridge the gap for students in need of financial assistance.

I make them using: German beading wire, Swarovski crystals, and small faceted beads that sort of look like Marcasite (but they're not). Each one is placed in a small green organza pouch, along with a quote from St. Ignatius Loyola that you select from the following:

a) "Ad Marjorem Dei Gloriam" To the greater glory of God

b) "Go forth and set the world on fire."

c) "Laugh and grow strong."

d) "Love is shown more in deeds than in words."

e) Lord teach me to be generous;
Teach me to serve you as you deserve;
To give and not to count the cost;
To fight and not to heed the wounds;
To toil, and not to seek for rest;
To labor, and not to ask for reward -
except to know that I am doing your will.

Shipping policies

I list 1-2 days for items to begin shipment, but will make every effort to mail them sooner, or same day whenever possible.

Each item is carefully packed in its very own box that is perfect and ready for gift giving. Most listings show an example of what the box might look like in the last photo.

Gift boxes have a fun and earthy look to them. They are typically "paper bag" brown, purple, red, or available color that is complementary to the item(s) you purchase, and filled with crinkle cut stuffing. I frequently tie them with bright green paper ribbon that looks like a blade of grass. Faith inspired, holiday, or school spirit items will usually have their own unique ribbon or bow that is also sure to please. A small "festive." gift tag is included with each item so that you can write something to your recipient on the inside.
