The Foxglove is a HUGE bag with many pockets making it the perfect workout bag OR diaper bag. It has a very large zippered pocket on the front with pleats that expands to accommodate athletic shoes. The reverse side is also pleated but without the zippered pocket. There are 2 exterior side pockets perfect for water bottles or baby bottles.

The bag has a zippered closure and on the inside there are 3 elasticized pockets. The shoulder straps are made from webbing but you can make your own if you prefer.

This bag can be made from a variety of fabric. The tester bags were made from: denim, quilting cotton, PUL, laminated cotton. Almost anything will work!

SUPPLIES:

Exterior fabric:
1.75 yards quilt weight cotton (less if using home decor)

Lining fabric:
1.25 yards quilt weight cotton

Interfacing:
2 yards fusible interfacing (SF101)
2 yards foam or similar sew-in interfacing
Peltex 14” W x 6” H

Notions and supplies:
(1) 18” zipper for main closure
(1) 16” zipper for pleated pocket (will be cut to 15”
14” of 1-inch wide elastic
20” of 1/4-inch wide elastic
60” of 1.25” webbing (or make your own straps)
(4) purse feet (optional)

OPTIONAL for mat strap:
(1) 1” D-ring
(1) 1” swivel clasp
(1) 1” slide

MEASUREMENTS:
17.75" W x 12.75" H x 5" D

SEWING EXPERIENCE: This project is suitable for intermediate sewing skills. It is not a difficult project but it can take a few hours to make because of all the pockets to create. It will take approximately 5-6 hours to make this bag.
