Materials: copper nickel alloy
1967 Sixpence coin from Great Britain. The six pence is probably the most famous coin in the world. Minted since the 16th century, originally in silver and later in copper nickel, the coin was used to ward off evil spirits. Hence, they would be placed in the bride's slipper to help the couple set off on the right path. Later they became a general good luck charm, being given as gifts or hidden inside the Christmas pudding, a tradition that continues to this day.
These are perfect for gifts, or to make into jewelry. You will get one coin of the copper nickel type, it will be average circulated condition but will be problem free, so no scratches, dings or bent coins.
