Description

Christmas is the time we celebrate many things. For the Christian, we celebrate the birth of the Christ, Jesus. This coloring sheet has three parts: The star that shone at His birth; the outline of a Christmas tree, which was traditionally linked to St. Boniface (the evergreen tree itself, not the outline). Legend has it that St. Boniface cut down the tree of Thor and pointed to a conifer, saying it was the symbol of eternal life, and represented the Trinity and how it points Heaven-ward. Finally, the passage from the Bible, Luke 2:11-12 in which the shepherds are told of the Christ's birth.
I hope you enjoy this coloring sheet.
