This cheerful bird in bright greens takes inspiration for its outlines from pre-Colombian designs of the Americas and is embellished with simple geometrical patterns that have a tribal, Boho feel to them. It’s a fun piece that will sit comfortably in any modern living setting.
This particular chart is larger than most of my designs and is perfect for a cushion cover, for instance. As usual, my aim is to bring a contemporary touch to all my pieces and I avoid shading and the use of other stitches to make them easily accessible to people with all levels of skill.
