These old medicines are in great shape for their age, no cracks or chips on bottles. The paper labels are intact and readable. The 1933 Sloan’s Liniment bottle measures 5” tall X 1 ¾” wide. It was made in the U.S.A. There is no telling what it was made of – there is a warning on the side label that says “CAUTION:-COMBUSTIBLE MIXTURE Do not use near Fire or Flame”. The prescription bottle is 5 ½” tall X 2” wide and was purchased by my Great Grandmother from Smith & Strevio, Inc., Pharmacists located in Wilmington, Delaware, on October 1, 1938. The Hallocks Castor Oil bottle stands 4 ½”. The mercurochrome bottle was manufactured by the Purex company and is 2 ¼” tall. The last of this group is a tin of Dr. Wernet’s Powder, for holding dental plates firmly in place, is approximately 2” tall, made in Brooklyn, New York. If you shake the tin, you can hear powder still inside. These items would be perfect in a shadowbox or displayed on a bathroom shelf. All have their original labels intact.

I will combine shipping costs with other items purchased.
