Three o'clock is my afternoon tea break - make mine a chai, please!

I'm having great fun with my newest tile series...a day in my life! I took a small slab of porcelain clay, and when it had stiffened up a bit I carved a stylized image of a cup of afternoon restitude into the clay. After a bisque firing, I glazed the cup in my glossy transparent teal blue, the tea (or coffee, if you prefer!) goldenrod, and the background in turquoise gloss transparent crackle. It measures approximately 2 1\/2" square, and is signed and dated on the back -

4\/18\/09 "Tea Break" Linda Ellett

I carved a small hole in the back for hanging.

My break at 3pm coincides with the break I took with my son when he got home from school throughout his middle and high school years, even though he is now a freshman at Cornell....yes, I'm a creature of habit!

Please convo me with questions. Thanks!!
