The Hertz Pottery Oil Lamp is wheel-thrown using a white stoneware clay and is perfect for indoor or outdoor lighting. It comes with a glass globe so it can be used even in a breezy, outdoor environment. Each oil lamp measures approximately 8.5 inches tall and 5 inches wide and is available in a variety of other glazes colors in our Etsy shop.

The fiberglass wick allows the oil to burn but does not deteriorate, whereas a cotton wick would smoulder and smoke. We recommend filling it just half full of good quality smokeless and odorless oil. The wick should be nearly flush with the top of the wick holder when lighting. The oil lamp should burn for many hours, until it runs out of oil.

***The fiberglass wick will last "forever" and is guaranteed for life, if anything ever happens to it I will replace it free of charge.***
