This war time ad shows a father looking in on his son before he goes off to serve his country. The black and white illustration depicts a strong and dashing father, with a sweet angelic child. The lighting is reminiscent of the film noir genre. The ad was for a maker of radio, telephones and sound equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a very specialized father's day gift.
The flip side of this magazine ad is completely different, and equally unique! A colorful, comical take on a henpecking wife and a doddering husband. Apparently he spent the money for retreading tires on a new hat. The ad talks of the the tire crisis, and how the military needs get first call.

Either side is worthy of framing, and either side could be a show stopper. The page measures about 7" X 10" and is in very good condition. It will be shipped flat , plastic wrapped to stiff cardboard to stabilize.

As always, I will only charge you the actual price of shipping, so if you combine purchases or I have over quoted, I will refund you the difference to your PayPal account.
