Item details

A strange figure glides through the mist toward the sea; haunting, ethereal, and beautiful. She is enigmatic and commanding. She is The Lady of Innsmouth.

The Lady was created as an alternate view of the residents of Innsmouth as portrayed in H.P. Lovecraft's The Shadow Over Innsmouth. In the original story the residents of Innsmouth are described as being ugly and fish-like with strange unblinking eyes. They are disliked and distrusted by outsiders mostly because they are different. I wanted to take that rough description and create how maybe one of the Innsmouth folk looked as she started transforming into her aquatic self before joining her family below Devil's Reef. Beautiful and alien. Start to finish the original sculpture in polymer clay took nearly a year and a half. She is the first larger scale Cthulhu mythos sculpture I've done.

The Lady of Innsmouth is an 8½ inch tall bust cast in white resin. She can be displayed as is or painted as a resin kit.

Also available in cold cast bronze and hand painted in full color
