Fritillaries: handmade, original print

Description

This original, handmade print is part of an edition of 25. It is printed on heavy Somerset printmaking paper.

Image size: approx 20cm by 24cm, or 8in by 9.5in

Paper size: 28cm by 38cm, or 11in by 15in

This print is one of a series I did on snakeshead fritillaries (Fritillaria Meleagris), after seeing a stunning bank full of these gorgeous spring flowers at Darlington Hall in Devon, England. It was also an experiment in cutting the lino in a criss-cross way to make a pattern and a tone. I wanted to keep it spare and simple, fritillaries like lanterns in the dark.

Delighted with my purchase. A beautiful quality print, which I have had framed as a 21st birthday gift for my son.
Thank you for packing so carefully.

Beautiful print. Made a great pressie. Had problems with delivery but I believe this to have been the fault of Royal Mail. Received a replacement print plus complementary gift as a goodwill gesture and this was gratefully received. Fantastic communication and customer service.

I know the artist who created this beautiful print. The colours reflect a typical Devon sky and landscape near Dartington. This has a dreamy almost wistful ambience and is both introspective and peaceful. I received my order speedily.
A beautiful old oak tree near the River Dart in Devon. Linocut variation two. Black, pinky-grey and olive green on white paper.

Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
You can pay by Paypal and I ship your purchase as soon as I can after the payment is received - often immediately, and at most within two days.

If you wish to cancel an order please contact me immediately. If I've already shipped it, I can refund your payment once you have returned the item in its original condition.

Returns & exchanges

If you are not happy with your item please contact me by conversation through Etsy, or email me, and return the item to me within 30 days. I will give you a refund if it is packaged and returned in the original condition. Buyer pays return shipping. It is advised that you obtain the minimum of a certificate of posting from the Post Office (or overseas equivalent) as I cannot be held responsible for goods lost in return transit.

Bear in mind that the colours of the print you see on your computer may vary slightly to the actual colour of the print, and that each print is handmade, so there are also likely to be variations within a limited edition.

If your item gets damaged or lost in the post, please get in touch with me. If it is an editioned print, I may have an identical, or almost identical, print to send as a replacement. If it is one of a kind, I may have something similar or you may choose to have a refund.

If your print has been damaged in the post I will need you to send the item back to me (or, at the very least, email a very clear photograph of the damage) before I will be able to replace or refund.

I would also need to chase up the post office and leave sufficient time before I can be sure that the item really is lost in the post. Only then will I be able to replace or refund.
