Werther & Gray is committed to using a high quality soy blend wax for all candle products in the shop. Parasoy is non-toxic, biodegradable, vegan and blends the best properties of soy and paraffin while limiting the less desirable qualities of both. Parasoy offers the superior aesthetics and scent throw of paraffin as well as a slower burn which is characteristic of soy.
CANDLE BURNING GUIDE: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Do not burn near children and pets. Burn only on a level, fire resistant surface away from flammable materials. Do not handle or attempt to move the candle while wax is hot or melted. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Keep wick trimmed to 1/4" to minimize sooting and uneven burning. Do not burn when wax level has reached 1/2" or less from bottom of container. Keep wick trimmings and foreign materials out of wax pool. To prevent tunneling, burn candle the first time so that wax pool reaches edge of container.

Because USPS does not guarantee delivery on or by a specific day, we also cannot guarantee delivery of your order by a particular date. However, it is very likely that your order, if shipped USPS Priority, will arrive within 3 days of being shipped.

International orders can spend several weeks in transit, or even longer sometimes. We are not responsible for transit times, delays caused by customs, or any loss in value due to late deliveries.

If you are concerned about when your order will be posted, please check the current processing time listed in the "Shipping & Policies" section, or the "ship by" date on orders already submitted.
When you mark an order as a gift, Etsy automatically excludes prices from your packing slip. If you do not mark it as a gift, your recipient will be able to see the prices. This is the ONLY difference when marking as gift.

We do not offer gift wrapping at this time, but every candle that we ship in every order is carefully wrapped in colored tissue paper. If you are ordering in larger volumes, we will use bubble wrap or something similar instead of tissue paper.
Candles are susceptible to melting in transit when delivered to areas with extreme heat (Looking at you, Phoenix, AZ!). Please consider ordering during cooler months or arrange to pickup your package at the post office to minimize time spent in very hot delivery vehicles. Werther & Gray ships all over the world and cannot be responsible for all weather conditions that may affect successful delivery of your candles. We don't refund orders that are damaged due to your local weather.
Because we sell on many different platforms, sometimes the availability of items does not reflect our inventory. In the event that we have oversold an item, your order will become "made to order" and we will notify you if the ship time has changed.
Unfortunately Etsy doesn't allow sellers to change addresses until we fulfill orders, and with large order queues it can be difficult to keep track of whose order needs to be corrected. If your order has not yet shipped, we will cancel your order so you can place a new one with the correct address.
Our policy is to refund items that have been damaged in transit; we do not send replacements for damaged items. Please provide pictures when you contact us so we can file a claim with USPS.

We are happy to step in when there are mailing issues up until the point of delivery, but unfortunately once shipments are marked as delivered there is very little we can do from our side. When a shipment is missing but marked delivered, it is an issue best resolved between the recipient and their post office.
