Description

These CH Field Haviland Limoges dishes are wonderful vintage heirlooms from the early 1900s. The dainty floral pattern has been transferred on to each piece to create the lovely pattern of pink roses, blue flowers, and fine greenery. The creamer handle and those on the covered casserole dish are also trimmed in gold.

The handle of the sugar bowl was broken off at one time and reattached. All other pieces are in very good vintage condition. The platter and bowls have some light scratch marks from use, otherwise the only other marks appear to be slight imperfections at the time they were created. (Two tiny pin hole marks in the glaze of the lid, a small area on the inside edge of the casserole dish were the transfer pattern touched and left some pink and blue color, etc)

Approximate measurements:
Casserole/Covered Dish - 10 1/2" wide with handles, about 8 1/2" diameter without handles, 5" tall with lid
Oval Platter - 11 1/2" x 9" Dessert or berry bowls - approx. 5" in diameter Creamer - 4 1/2" wide with handle, 3" tall

Haviland Limoges produced between 30,000 and 60,000 patterns! Many of the patterns are very similar, so collectors often intermingle similar patterns to make a complete set of dinnerware. These items would be a great start for someone who is starting to collect, or as items to include in an already developing collection. B35
