Description

This listing is for a glass pickle ornament. Each pickle is 2.5-3.5 inches in length. In the tradition dating back to the 19th century, an ornamental pickle is placed on the Christmas tree and the first child to find the pickle will receive an extra gift from Santa or would be said to have a year of good fortune.

We blow our ornaments to be thicker so that they are stronger than what you'll find in the store but not too heavy so they wouldn't weigh down the branches of a Christmas tree. They're great for any occasion, not just the holidays. They make excellent gifts and look excellent hanging in a window as a sun catcher. All of our glass is kiln-annealed for strength and durability.
