Description

This vintage-inspired Gerbera ring combines the charm of fiery Old European Cut diamond and rose gold milgrained bezel double-halo for a unique engagement ring.

The center stone is a charming vintage Old European Cut (OEC) diamond, EGL-USA certified and in pristine condition. The OEC diamonds have gained popularity lately due to their old world character, a beautiful flower-like faceting pattern and amazing fire that is unique to these antique cuts. True vintage OEC diamonds are fairly rare, especially ones that feature good cut symmetry, no signs of wear and a certificate from a good gem lab.

The specs on the center diamond are as follows: 0.75 carats, 5.6 mm diameter, 61.3% depth, 55% table, very good polish and good symmetry, J color and VS1 clarity. The diamond comes with a lab report from EGL-USA and includes an appraisal for $4,440 (for the diamond only, not the whole ring). Please email me for a copy of the lab report. Overall, this diamond is a great example of why vintage OEC diamonds are gaining popularity, it has a beautiful flower facet pattern and amazing fire!

The diamond is bezel set in a beautiful and elegant antique-inspired GERBERA ring featuring milgrain bezels and surrounded by daisy-style diamond double halo. Additional diamonds in the band and a delicate floral gallery complete the look of this intricate ring mount. It features 0.38 carats of GH VS2 diamonds and made in 14K rose gold.

I suggest this as a matching wedding band: http://www.etsy.com/listing/185972492

This ring can also be made with any gemstone or moissanite or diamond, and any gold color, please contact me for a quote.

Items that are "ready to ship" and have not been modified have a 5-day return policy (you get a refund of item price, not the shipping charge). Removing the tag from your jewelry will void the return policy, so please don't remove the tag until you are sure about keeping your item.

If an item has been modified (for example resized), then no return is accepted. Also, items that are made to order are non-refundable and cannot be canceled. However, it is my priority to make sure that my customers are happy with their purchase, so I will work on any possible issues that come up.

Shipping policies

Items will be shipped by insured mail. Orders over $500 will be shipped by registered mail. This is the case for orders within the U.S. If you are an international buyer, please contact me first for a quote (international buyers are responsible for any applicable taxes in their country). I cannot ship to APO because they don't allow registered mail.

Additional policies

Additional fees:
Resizing: there is a $40 resizing fee. For items over $1000, we will offer free resizing.
Engraving: $25 per word.
Setting your stone: there is a $50 mounting fee and you would need to sign a waiver of liability. It is at our discretion to decide which stones we feel comfortable setting.

Policy on buying gemstones:
-We are happy to provide additional photos or videos, to help you make a decision
-We offer a 5-day inspection period. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you can return the gem in its original undamaged condition for a full refund (buyer pays return shipping).
-If you don't see what you are looking for in the listings, please contact me and I will be happy to source your special gem for you.
-I can get a report from GIA on your request. It will cost $120 and take about a month. The report fee is not refundable.

Also, a note on gemstone photography. It is often very hard to photograph the gemstone accurately, as the color may vary depending on light source, camera or even your monitor. I photopgraph gemstones in natural light only and I do not edit the photos in any way (other than cropping). If you would like additional photos or videos, please ask.
