One of Ashley's happened to be the very first tutorial on spinning I ever watched while down the YouTube rabbit hole a couple years back. She is very clear in presenting the concepts she would like to convey to you, and in her suggestions on practical applications of the techniques. I tend to be a remarkably boring spinner myself - I really just love to see a smooth, worsted, light weight yarn on the bobbin or in a hank. Nevertheless, I love watching these videos, and I am hoping to, if nothing else, expand my repertoire a little and get comfortable with textured (or at least hairier) yarns. I think I will probably come back later today to get the carding set of videos as well.
