"The Hoosier Horseless Carriage" One of eight scenes of memorable moments in America's history painted by H. Charles McBarron in the 1950s for the American Oil Company. Mr. McBarron worked in water color and tempera and the paintings were reproduced using four color offset lithography.

"The Hoosier Horseless Carriage", "Elwood G. Haynes of Kokomo, Indiana, was one of the first Americans to build a motor car and in this memorable painting, one of his later efforts is shown on a city street, scaring horses and racing a trolley car."

Medium weight textured paper measuring overall 20" x 16". The image measures 18-3/4" x 13-3/4". Very good condition with some minor bumping around the edges. This print has spent its life rolled up inside a tube and the colors are still very vibrant. Staging was done with magnets.

I have more prints from this set listed separately. If you are interested in purchasing more than one, message me and I can lower the shipping by combining them into a special listing for you.

Wonderful gift.
