The Tubes answer the question, "what would you get if you crossed a biker band with a bunch of art students." The answer is the Tubes. This is their debut album, album, produced by Al Kooper of The Blues Project and the first Blood, Sweat and Tears. It mixes heavy rock licks with involved arrangements, biting sarcasm and dark humor, which created a stir in the music industry. It got a fair amount of airplay - especially "What Do Want From Life" (a parody on consumerism) and "White Punks on Dope" (a commentary about their fan base).

This has only been played a time or two. As a result, it's nearly pristine. The cover and sleeve are also in excellent condition.

At a time when Disco was at its peak, The Tubes provided a counter-balance. They were at the forefront of new genres to come: Punk and New Wave. Hear where it all started, on like new vinyl.
