The three colors of the transgender flag; pink, white (represented here with matte silver) and light blue are represented in this unique chainmail scale pendant. The anodized aluminum scales were hand woven together with silver aluminum jump rings to create this piece. A stainless steel bail is securely attached and should accommodate most thinner chains.

The pendant measures 1-1/2 inch (3.8cm) from the top of the stainless steel bail. It is 9/16 inch (1.4cm) wide. Each scale measures 7/8 inch (2.2cm) in length and 9/16 inch (1.4cm) in width.

This pendant can be purchased alone, or with your choice of either a stainless steel oval link chain or a stainless steel curb chain. Both chains are 2mm wide and offered in 16", 18", 20" and 22" lengths. Please select your choice from the drop down menu before adding this item to your cart.

Using a flexible tape measure, measure around your wrist bone. Take that measurement and add a minimum of 1/2" to a maximum of 1" (depending on how you like your bracelets to fit) and order that size. For example, a 6" wrist would best fit a 6.5" bracelet. If you do not have a tape measure, you can use string to wrap around your wrist and a ruler for measuring.

Aluminum is a lightweight metal that will not tarnish or rust, and is easy to care for. The colors of anodized aluminum can be scratched by harder metals, please take care when storing your jewelry. If your aluminum jewelry becomes dirty it can be washed with mild blue dish soap and warm water. Allow to thoroughly dry. I recommend not wearing your jewelry while bathing as soaps and shampoos can strip the colors.

I bought this just a few days ago and it arrived very quickly. It looks just as beautiful as advertised, if a tiny bit smaller than I expected. (I’m not good at judging measurements without some kind of scale comparison to look at; this is not a criticism of the description in any way.) The scales are thin but they don’t feel fragile, and the pendant is very lovely to fidget with. It is a subtle nod to my identity that I’ve already fallen in love with. A+ would buy from this seller again.

It's a beautiful necklace and it gets rave reviews from my friends: my only complaint is that the clasp is really tricky for my hands(I have big hands lol. Also had never worn a necklace before though). The pendant is also detachable(the chain is threaded through that loop, which is visible in the photo), for better and for worse. Looks precisely as pictured. Overall great, would recommend.
