This headband is NOT made of Merino wool – but it IS knit of a beautiful variegated blue and green yarn, made in Italy, full of texture and sheen.

I was trying to think of a name for this lovely headband, and was just about to name it after my fiancé’s mom (the loveliest Italian lady I know), and while looking up the meaning of her first name, I happened to type in their last name, ‘Marino,’ and this is what I found out:

"Derived from the Latin word "marinus," meaning 'of the sea,' the Marino surname indicates someone who lives or works near the “mare” (sea)."

Aha! That’s what the colors bring to mind, a picturesque sea.

This soft and fun headband is stretchy and comfortable, not so tight that it’ll spring off the back of your head! It's approximately 2.5 inches wide when "relaxed" and approximately 2 inches wide when situated on the head.

Care instructions: hand wash in cool water, lay flat to dry.

Ready to ship. I usually ship the same day payment clears, if it's before 4:00 p.m. here (within one business day, at the latest).

Handmade in a smoke-free, pet-free home.
