Description

Wound powder is an herbal compound developed to abate bleeding, support the body's natural defenses against harmful organisms, encourage a healthy inflammatory response, and accelerate the body's natural healing process.  It soothes inflamed tissue, encourages cellular proliferation and wound contraction. Made with organic and wildcrafted herbs. See last picture of wound powder ingredients pre-mixed.

Suggested Use: Gently sprinkle into cleaned cuts or wounds, until bleeding stops. Apply butterfly bandage or surgical strips to hold wound together. During the healing process the powder will gently assimilate into your body while forming a protective scab on top. Always follow first aid procedures and seek medical attention when needed.

We have found Wound Powder minimizes the need for invasive stitches that cause more trauma to the skin and unnecessary trips to the Emergency room, think of it as "powdered stitches". *

Keep in your car, backpack or first aid kit. Bottle measures 4 ¾" x 1 ½".

Continue reading to hear how our family has used Wound Powder.

One unanticipated test of Wound Powder was when Dad gashed his left palm while using a power drill. The wound was about ½” deep and 1” in diameter. After letting it bleed a bit and rinsing with water to be sure it was free of dirt, we gently pressed the side of the wound to open, sprinkled in the powder, then gently pressed it in place and held it together with three small surgical strips. After just one week we were amazed at how quickly it was healing! After two weeks the powdered scab was reducing in size and being replaced with new skin. During the third and forth week the scab was gone and the skin was building back up to normal thickness (pictures upon request).
