Description

Per translation from the original French text:
'Wedding Ensemble: A sheath dress of white satin under a tiered skirt of crepe georgette and
a surplice bodice of light satin Brocade. The overskirt of crepe georgette is machine picot-hemmed, the bottom tier length of which hangs longer than the hem of the sheath dress underneath to hit very low on the leg. The boat neck of the gathered blouse is trimmed with a single braid of satin, nicely framing the neck. A lower neckline than that is not suitable for a dress of this kind. The train is of matching light satin brocade and satin brocade shoes to match are to be worn as are kid gloves.'

This 7-piece hand-drafted pattern fits 34" bust, 28" waist and 37" hip.

The veil is not included, but I have listed a 1936 bridal veil pattern from which a similar Juliette Cap may be fashioned. Click here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/262973091/1936-wedding-veil-size-22-head-evadress

I do not have a finished example from this pattern, although I have sewn the 1920 Evening Gown from this set as you see in the photos (example is not for sale). I included that gown image to inspire the fabric possibilities one might use for this wedding gown.

This is a reproduction hand-drafted from the original pattern pieces. ½” seams are given on all edges and for hems in this pattern unless otherwise noted on pattern.

All of my patterns are full size on 18-lb translucent bond paper and in stock as I print them on demand. This bond paper is sturdy enough that it doesn't tear like pattern tissue, yet it is light enough to see and cut through easily enough.

Celebrating over 15 years of bringing you accurately reproduced and multi-size vintage patterns!
