I quilted this 45 layout mat using premium cotton fabrics; the rows help to keep order and ensure that all those little beads to stay put! The 45 layout mat feels as good as it looks and will have children reaching for it again and again, and because kids are messy, it is 100% machine washable!
Once children have mastered the work using the colored side, have them turn the mat over and try it without the guidelines! The back side of this large mat is also useful for many other types of floor work in the Montessori and traditional classroom.
