Description

40+ What a lovely flower to greet you when you come home from work! Typically the flowers will remain open all evening and night until morning and on cloudy days, they may not close at all. Mirabilis Jalapa white is a bushy tender perennial that can be grown from either a tuber or flowers seeds. In areas that get heavy frost, Four O'Clock plants will only survive as an annual. The leaves of the Mirabilis Jalapa Four O'Clock are opposite, slightly pointed, and oval on multi-branching stems. The flowers are trumpet-shaped, with 5 petals per flower. This particular variety has white flowers that have slight vanilla scent which can be quite strong at times. Four O'Clocks can be grown very easily from flowers seeds, but need to be provided with warm soil in order to germinate. They will germinate best between 65 - 75F in just 10 - 14 days if the flower seeds are kept moist. If directly planting outdoors, Four O'Clock seeds should be planted in late spring or early summer. In cooler areas with a late spring, start the Mirabilis Jalapa seeds indoors about eight weeks before the final frost date for transplanting outdoors at a later time. They grows best in full sun, but will tolerate light shade if necessary, and they need to be watered regularly and should ideally have a fertile soil. The plants will bloom all summer long. Their bloom season is Spring through Summer and will grow 18-36 inches tall. Perennial in zones 8-10. Instructions included. Combined shipping discount...all additional items ship free.

Caution: These flower seeds are poisonous.
