Designed for the Color Inspirations Club 2016 with RJR Fabrics, Mirth is a paper-pieced mini quilt pattern that uses 8 solids and a background fabric to create a bright and happy wall quilt or table topper. The paper-piecing technique allows for perfect points and accurate construction.

Finishes at 22.5" x 22.5"

Uses 1/8 yd. of eight (8) solid color fabrics and 1 1/4 yd. background fabric, in addition to batting, binding and backing.

The RJR Cotton Supreme Solids used in the cover photo will all be available at independent quilt shops starting in May 2016.
The Robert Kaufman fabrics used in the second version are available at independent quilt shops now.

It such an beautiful design and stitched out well until the satin stitch around the tomato and stem. They are so narrow and do not cover the tack down stitching. It is impossible to cut your applique out that closely to the stitches without cutting the tack down line. It resulted in fabric sticking out past the final satin stitch.
