What an utterly magical variegated yarn - in soft rose and robin’s egg blue and all the gorgeous lavenders and violets in between, speckled with spiced gold and cinnamon, orange and navy. Think lavender and roses with a lavish sprinkling of cloves and gold dust. Yum.

::How should I care for my yarn?::
Hand washing is recommended. The dyes I use are low-impact Procion MX fiber reactive dyes in a cold water process, randomly distributing color, sometimes in multiple baths to produce a glazed and layered effect. There is no regular striping or predictable pooling. In the silk blend yarns, both the silk and plant fibers take up the color. You may have a slight coloring of water in the first bath, but the color of your yarn will not change.

Colors strike and move differently on different fibers. In addition, color movement and flow will vary from base to base and lot to lot and skein to skein. If your garment requires more than a single skein, consider alternating between skeins.

And, thank you for visiting!
