Description

This is a vintage sterling Peking glass and marcasite necklace from the 1920s or 1930s. It has an Art Deco design made up of alternating panels, four sterling filigree with marcasite and three molded green floral glass, meant to simulate jade. The glass is prong set and each panel measures 3/4 of an inch long and 1/2 of an inch wide. The piece is completed with a delicate floral filigree chain. It has a spring ring clasp which is in good working order. The clasp and the back of the glass settings are marked sterling. It has a wearable length just shy of 15 inches but could easily be worn with an extender.
