Description

This classic sweater vest with its matching oversized slouchy beret will keep your SD-sized girl (or smaller SD boy) cozy any time of year!

The yarn is a blend of wool, silk, and bamboo from Araucania Yarns, handpainted in a rich mix of greens, from deep pine to bright willow. The close-up photo of the beret is truest to the real colors of the yarn in overcast daylight. I adapted this vest design from an SD cardigan pattern by biscuitbear, in the old Den of Angels archives, and the beret design from a people-sized pattern at tychoish.com.

Lucky features a V-neck that allows for simple dressing, no head removal required. The easy, straight shape will layer over any shirts, tees, or dresses that your doll owns. The beret is sized for SD heads that wear an 8-9" or larger wig. This set will fit many BJDs in the "SD" or 60cm size range, with more or less ease depending on the individual doll. The vest's high-hip length is designed for shorter-torso girl bodies, but boys can wear it too, as a cropped style. The best fit will be on dolls who can share clothes with the original CP/Luts Delf boys and girls, Volks SD10 boys and girls, or Volks SD13 girls.

My model (not for sale) is Yumi, an Andolrea Unoss Seina. She is wearing her own blouse and leggings, also not for sale.

Additional policies

I'm sorry, but my work schedule doesn't leave me enough time for custom orders. If that ever changes, I will post an announcement here!

About customs fees: International customers are responsible for all fees imposed, including import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the buyer's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; I have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays of weeks or months. All international orders will have full value declared on customs forms - no exceptions. I do not refund original shipping charges for buyers who refuse items because of the customs charges applied by their country.
