Bernard Perris (1936-2010) was a Parisian designer who, during his career, worked as assistant to Marc Bohan and Guy Laroche, and worked as a designer for Jacques Heim (1961-63), Dior (1963) and Paul Bon (1964-69). He opened his own firm in 1969 and opened a New York store in 1986, two Paris stores in 1988 and was hired as head designer for Jean-Louis Scherrer in 1994. He won design awards in 1988 and 1995. His design ethic was "more is more".
