BOOTS AND SADDLE

This beautiful water pitcher is almost pristine!
No chips, cracks or crazing.

It is in excellent shape! Clear bright colors! There are 3 kiln marks on the bottom from production, which is normal for authentic Wallace China pieces.
As part of a complete china set of mixed and matched design of Westward Ho's, Rodeo pattern and Boots and Saddles pattern sets, this vessel is a wonderful anchor to the table scape.
Mixed sets really make for the most entertaining and gorgeous setting.

(Since this is my first item ever, I just want those who are interested to understand that I have a full set of mixed and matched Authentic backstamped Rodeo pattern and Boots and Saddle that will be posted for sale. Aside, I also have 6 extra place settings in replica Rodeo that were made at True West.)

Description:
Tan body with dark brown branding iron & rope border.
Center design artwork: A cowboys riding saddle resting on a fence post, stirrups, lasso rope and of course, a pair of cowboy boots & spurs in shades of brown and rust.
The branding iron marks on the outside border are from authentic working ranches from the time of the patterns design. Till's signature is just under the fence rail, in the upper left on the piece.

The Westward Ho china series Boots and Saddle that you see here, was originally produced by the Wallace China Company in Los Angeles between 1943 and 1964 and is designed by the western artist Till Goodan. Over the years, these vintage Wallace pieces have steadily risen in value and are highly collectible. Most old patterns generally carry marks of companies no longer in business such as Wallace China. Keep in mind that some new backstamps, like Westward Ho, are very similar to the originals. In those cases, you need to match original factory marks very carefully.

The best way to tell any of the new remakes from the vintage pieces is by the back stamp.

Made in America.

Dimensions: 7 1/4 H, 4 1/4 W, 8 1/2 L.
Weighs approximately 3.6 lbs before packaging.

FYI on Replacements, Ltd.com website, when in stock, sell this item for $349.99 + tax...
