This 1850's daytime ensemble (dress, bonnet, apron and bloomers) is typical of the clothing worn by Kirsten and Addy. The bonnet protects them from the sun and the apron keeps their dress clean.

The dress is made from a yellow orange cotton print. The dress has full sleeves with elastic at the cuffs and the hem is finished with a striped ruffle, made from a striped contrasting print used on the apron and bonnet. The dress is fully lined and closes in back with Velcro.

The apron is made from the striped cotton print. The apron buttons around the neck (one side is a faux button and button hole, the other side attaches the apron). The apron is trimmed with two pockets with decorative buttons. The apron ties in back.

The bonnet is fashioned from the same materials, and features piping around the brim and ruffled decoration. The bonnet is lined and ties in front.

The bloomers are made from a beige cotton (the same material used to line the dress, bonnet and apron) and is has decorative trim on each leg.
