An articulated necklace, made of base metal with a rhodium plated finish. The 15 cast elements are massive, they are dome shaped with a slightly hollow back side and with a wave pattern on their front sides. These massive elements are directly connected with each other and the connections are hidden by rectangular links, which are folded around the connections. A fold over clasp in good working condition. This clasp is marked on the back side “Trifari Pat. Pend.”. A retro design by Alfred Philippe, the creative director of the American company Trifari, famous for the high quality of their costume jewelry. The patent has been registered on November 11th 1952 with the no. 168,185. Quality jewelry, very nice, shiny rhodium finish (difficult to reproduce on photograph).
