Description

This is a PDF pattern for my Crochet Duck billed slippers pattern. The slippers come with written instructions and in three sizes. They are crocheted using Aran wool (I've used Beaker Button Bountiful Aran for the slippers and Beaker Button Mini Skein for the buttons in the example). They are crocheted using a 5mm hook.

This pattern would be suitable for someone with a little crochet experience.

It has UK and US terms.

Tension: 10cm x 10cm square = 12 dc x 16 rows, size 5mm crochet hook or appropriate size to achieve the correct tension, Beaker Button Bountiful Aran 100g, 160m.
4 Dorset buttons 2.6cm. I used a contrasting thread for my buttons. You will need 4 brass rings 2.6cm across and 10m of 4ply. You will also need a blunt needle. Sizes: small is about 20cm long, medium is about 22cm long and large is about 24cm long.

All Beaker Button patterns come with Dorset button instructions so you can learn this fabulous traditional craft with a modern twist. The instructions in this pattern are for a crosswheel, the easiest type of button to make.
