Authentic Crawford Irish waxed linen thread, 4 ply (cord), size 18.

I use this thread in my bookbinding and find it easy to work with and is strong and sturdy. It holds up well over time and is the historical choice of bookbinders. Great for bookbinding, macrame, basket weaving, jewelry, and bead stringing. The wax reduces friction which allows the thread to glide through much more easily as you sew and keeps the fibers from fraying, plus it grips knots well so they won't untie by themselves.

This 4 ply cord is size 18 which is approximately 0.82 mm in diameter (comparable to 20 gauge wire).

You get 10 yards in the color of your choice. If you need more than 10 yards I will send you one continuous section if possible, not multiple 10 yard sections.

How to order:
Select the quantity you want from the drop down menu. A quantity of 1 = 10 yards, 2 = 20 yards, and so on.
If you want multiple colors, you can either:
...A) select the total number of 10 yard increments you want from the drop down menu and leave me a note at checkout indicating your color choices, or
...B) Select the quantity you want for a single color, add to cart, and go back to the listing and select your next quantity and color.

Colors will vary from lot to lot and also may look different on your monitor. Please allow for slight color differences, and order extra for large projects.
