Whether you are a light coffee drinker or a coffee connoisseur, I craft specialty coffee to your very own taste. NW Custom Coffee is my start up company making small batch coffee to order. The major benefit of having small batch coffee is the control of the roast, which creates more complex flavors and a higher quality bean. You can also receive your beans in about three days, which provides one of the freshest options in the coffee market today. It literally roasts and then ships, giving you a coffee experience like no other!

You can customize your 1 pound of coffee in two ways: Darkness of the roast and grind texture.

1. First, choose what roast level you would like***

City+ (Light Roast)-This is the least roasted of the beans, which allows for more aromas, fruitiness and acidity. I typically roast this with beans from Tanzania and Guatemala Ethiopia

Full City (Medium Light Roast)-Slightly darker than the City+, Little less aromas, fruitiness and slightly less acidity. I typically roast this roast with beans from Kenya, Rwanda Ethiopia.

Full City+ (Medium Dark Roast)-This roast has less aromas and fruitiness and more cocoa, smoky flavors and caramelized sugars. I typically roast this with beans from Ethiopia, Kenya, Guatemala

Light French (Light Dark Roast) - This roast is in between the Full City+ and the French Roast. This is where you start to lose your acidity and goes towards the smoky bold flavors and caramelization flavors. I typically roast this with beans from Nicaragua, Columbia, Guatemala

French (Dark Roast)-This roast is just before the bean starts to burn, and the sugars are heavily caramelized. I typically roast this with beans from Sumatra, Nicaragua.
Just a suggestion- If this is your “go-to” coffee roast (as this is for many coffee houses) I encourage you to try a lighter roast to experience some new flavors of coffee.

Side notes:
• It is a myth that darker roasts have more caffeine!
• If you have a specific country you would like to order a bean from, let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
• The country’s that I chose for roast levels are just recommendations.

2. Second, choose a grind texture:
• Whole bean
• French press
• Pour over
• Automatic drip/Single-cup brewing system
• Light espresso
• Fine espresso

As you can tell I love coffee and am more than happy to talk to you if you have any questions so please feel free to contact me!

Thank you,
NW Custom Coffee
