This is my own one of a kind whimsical circus cat sculpture entitled "Tiger, the Big-Pawed Circus Cat." It is reminiscent of the Victorian era traveling circus in which they may have a "freak show" as well as acts that perform under the big top. Tiger is both part of the "freak show," with his unusually large front paws, as well as part of the big top circus act, rolling around with a clown on top playing music. Tiger has a Siamese porcelain cat head, vintage Tiger Smoking Tobacco tin body, brass castor feet (the two in front are marvelously detailed Lion's Paw castors), brown cast iron Victorian reproduction hat hook tail, and a neck built up with a brass dish and an oil lamp part. His head is adorned with a brass filigree piece and a large, lovely brass finial. A bisque clown playing the ukulele rides atop as part of the circus act. The piece is large and hefty, measuring 15"L X 17"H X 6"D. He is perfect for the cat, clown, or circus lover or anyone who enjoys a one-of-a-kind whimsical sculpture. He is looking to be adopted by a good home. I hope you enjoy him as much as I enjoyed making him!
