Description

An exciting Magical fun Creepy Mystery Adventure about an orphan sent away to live at Ms. Thorn's Home for Wicked Children. Could she ever be a great and powerful Wicked? The art style is dark and Whimsical (influence by Edward Gorey and Tim Burton) because I personally love the style and I think it lends itself well to this story. My characters don't accept the world around them as inevitable or inherently right. They have intelligence and resourcefulness. Children these days know better than to believe everything ends happily and easily all the time. Sometimes it's tough being a kid. Who can relate to games where everyone wins or protagonists who go through life with no negative events? In my book the children work to solve problems. This story has great lessons and is no more terrible or scary than Hansel and Gretel. Children don't really like goody-goody books, mine, at least (and I bet yours).
