This is a First Edition. volume 19 PORT-RYAN (containing famous writers and poets from Port-Ryan, of the twenty five volume Ridpath Library of Universal Literature editor in chief John Clark Ridpath, A.M., L.L.D.

It was published by The Globe Publishing company New York in 1898 and is not paginated. The book is almost 1 1\/2" thick which should approximate 400 or 500 pages.

The size is 5 1\/2" x 8"

It is in good to very good condition. The spine is intact, but slightly wobbly. The tissue covering the front picture is torn. There is a scratch across the front cover (see picture. There is a brown stain on the top of the blank first pages, but there is no foxing and only faint browning. It is sparsely illustrated with some photographs and single color etchings. There is a purple stamped name on the inside front cover which says Ruse-Taylor, P.M. and on the other side an inscription in ink pen which reads :" Presented to the Harvey Christian Church by Mr & Mrs Robert Harside Jan 1947
