I know the old photo is likely from the turn of the last century (though probably printed 20 or so years ago from the original negative). but this gal looks like a pioneer woman. Weathered, firm jaw, hair pulled back and wire-rimmed glasses.

On the backside of the frame (or call it the front if you wish) is another one of those Dr. Seuss illustrations from If I Ran The Zoo, this time a creature with distinct nostrils that looks somewhat like an antelope with red horns.

Dangling below the 1 X 1 inch frame are two glass beads (one dark blue), and a brass bell bead. All suspended from an almost 24 inch silver tone chain with clasp.

This is indeed one of a kind.
