Description

Title: "Red Fox"

Signed giclee print of original oil pastel with digitally painted background. Printed on glossy photo paper, signed by artist.

This adorable print makes an excellent gift, and can be hung like a poster in a dorm room or first apartment, or framed to fit with any decor. Makes a colorful, lovely addition to nurseries or play rooms!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Note cards come with an envelope, are not signed, and are printed on matte photo paper with a blank inside to allow you to write your own message.
8X10 print can be easily fit into standard sized 11x14 mats/frames. 11x14 print fits into standard size 16x20 mats/frames.
I suggest framing with archival, acid free mat and backing, and always using UV protective glass or plexi over the top, to protect the print and extend its longevity.
Some notes about process: I paint the subject with oil pastels, usually on Bristol paper. I will often use pen and ink, chalk pastel, or colored and graphite pencil to create a background. Then I use Photoshop to paint out the physical background and paint in a new digital background, creating two different versions of my artwork for different people to enjoy. Digital manipulation allows me to explore varying ways to create without having to limit myself to a single finished product. Certain artistic effects can't be reproduced digitally to my satisfaction, and certain digital effects can't be produced using conventional art supplies, so working this way allows me to combine the best of both worlds.
