Large drum, called a Djembe, (d silent) made of hollowed out wood with a skin stretched across the top, held with rope. This musical instrument is regular size, 25" height and 14 1/2" in diameter. The wood is all hand carved and decorated. The ropes are intricately tied around the head of the drum and can be tightened or loosen to change the sound of the drum. There is also rope for carrying the instrument.
This drum was made in Indonesia.
Weighs about 20 lbs.
