In 1932 Dr Leo J. Latz published 'The rhythm of sterility and fertility in women', using for the first time the term 'rhythm'. This is the twenty second printing of the book and was published 'with ecclesiastical approbation' in 1950. Complete with pull-out charts and black and white line drawing illustrations of female pelvic and sexual organs, and 'mother' and 'father' cells. Advertised as hygienic, dependable, practical and ethical and offering the possiblity of babies when parents are ready.

Hardcover, 6 1/2 by 4 inches, with intact dustjacket. Binding is tight, all pages clean and clear. Original owner's name in script on first page.
