This is a vintage clock manufactured and designed by Mechtronics Corp. of Stamford, CT for Burpee Seeds. This is a commemorative clock for the 1976 centennial. This clock housing is wood and the face is colorful and informative. The clock features a moon phases dial, as well as a Planting Season dial that will tell you when to order seeds and when to plant your garden, as well as, the astrological calendar. There is also a key with a list of when to plant which types of seeds. The clock face is covered by plexiglass. This is a great clock, which could use some TLC since it isn't currently working. It's an electrical clock and I can't imagine it would take a lot to fix it. The back of the clock can be removed to access the works and it also has a list of frost dates for spring and fall for the continental US. This is Model No. 4 and is 120 volts AC, 60 cycles 3 watts. In good condition...as mentioned is not currently working, and the wooden exterior has some scuff marks. For wall or mantle.
